On September 25th, Geam organised in Genova an event of the LIFE CAT4HEAVY project with the cooperation of the Seanergy Summer School. The initiative, led by a consortium of international partners such as Magellan Circle, Anleg, ATPERSON, DAFNI, ECO imagination, WMU, RINA, ENNSHAFEN, Fundaciòn Valencia Port, Future Proof Shipping, Institute for Water Education of Delft and Zero-E Engineering, brought together key stakeholders to focus on the energy transition in ports.
Geam, along with its partners from LIFE CAT4HEAVY program, MNLT and Monolithos, presented the LIFE CAT4HEAVY project to the participants, sharing the methodology and results achieved so far, as well as key insights into the ongoing work. The presentation highlighted innovative approaches and technologies aimed at reducing the heavy-duty vehicles pollutant emissions.
In the event and networking workshop participated approximately 30 technical managers from various European and Italian ports involved in the week-long advanced training seminar. The program was aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to lead the shift toward sustainable port operations.
